Early
morning on the 4th of July and the valve gear glints in the sun.
Pressure is building up and a wisp of steam emerges from one of the
snifting valves.

Mid
afternoon on 4th July. A class 25 diesel has earlier pulled the locomotive forward,
ready for the guests to arrive and watch the loco's first run at 7:30pm.

Following
the runs in Swanwick yard, 92214 was coupled to a brake van and moved to
the running line. She is seen here entering Swanwick Junction platform
after a trip to Butterley.

There
is approximately 60 psi showing on the Steam Chest pressure gauge (top)
as the loco runs out of Swanwick Junction towards Ironville.

Boiler pressure gauge shows 160 psi. Note the pouch holding the 'long
line' tablet hanging on the steam heating control wheel.
