Due to vital work being carried out at Ramsbottom level crossing, train departures to Rawtenstall were from platform 1.

The loco stands at Bury before running round the train. 

Saturday 13th January 2007 was arranged as a test day to ensure that all was well with the loco. The 'spare slot' in the timetable was made available to do two full round trips between Bury - Rawtenstall - Heywood - Bury, which gives a run of around 50 miles. The two left hand photos show 92214 and guards van at Bury prior to the first run. The two right hand photos were taken earlier in the day and show 45231 coming off shed to run one of the days service trains. The other service train was a class 101 DMU.
