Once you have passed you referees examination what do you do next ?

The first thing that you need to do is get refereeing on a local league. If you have not been given any contact names and numbers  on your course then you should contact your local county FA, they will then supply you with a list of contacts for the local leagues.

Once you have got it the swing of things you may want to start thinking about promotion. Promotion from class 3 to class 2 is based on your club marks, but you may find it beneficial to have an assessment. To get an assessment contact your local assessment coordinator (find it in county handbook), alternatively your referees society may have a mentor scheme in place.

When you feel comfortable with your refereeing you may want to consider doing a few lines to further your experience (it will also help if you have any semi-final appoints in the future). If you want to do some lines then contact your local supply league.
