(FAMOA)

FAMOA is a direct link between the FA and all connected with refereeing. The FOMOA will promote:

• Referee training

• Dissemination of good practice

• Developments in the game

• Rewards in refereeing

FAMOA exists to support, inform and develop match officials at every stage in their careers. Local activities will be promoted and co-ordinated by the Regional Manager (Referees).

Two newsletters and a journal

The first newsletter has a different function from subsequent ones. It is important to introduce you to FAMOA and to make you aware of the Regional Manager who will be your first point of contact when you need help and advice. The journal, which will appear in the spring will contain informed articles on refereeing matters. There will also be the opportunity for you to contribute to this with either an article, a news item or a letter to the editor.

The publications will have a balanced approach to national and local news and activities. Regional Managers will compile a report on news and events and each Region will be clearly identifed.
