Brian Lewis Consultants (BLC) was set up in early 1999 when the principal left RCP Consultants having spent ten years as Director of  RCP's Publishing Division. During this time he was responsible for the specification, design, development, marketing and management of two publishing software packages that became market leaders with over 1000 users in 32 countries.

Our principal has twenty five years in-depth experience and knowledge of journals publishing, including 12 years as IT Manager at Blackwell Science where he developed the world's first generic manuscript tracking system which is still in use some 18 years later.

BLC maintains a wide network of contacts in the industry and has extensive experience of the journals publishing business in U.K., Europe and North America.

BLC has a good knowledge and understanding of the World Wide Web and it's applicability to the journals publishing industry.

From August 1999 to September 2001 BLC was the sole UK and European representative for PaperPath Inc.of Boston Mass. developers of the  innovative PaperPath 2000 suite of programs for editors and publishers.
