Health

Please note, none of the advice given here is meant to be used as an alternative to correct veterinary assistance, but to supplement it.

A fast indicator as to the state of your pets's health is it's droppings. Due to the sensitive nature of a chinchillas stomach, the droppings are usually the first indication of an ill chin. They should be hard, dry and solid. If they are soft and loose then you have a sick chinchilla on your hands.
