chinchilla's diet should consist only
of good quality dedicated chinchilla pellets, good quality dust free hay (such
as alfalfa, Lucerne, Timothy hay, Oxbow hay, Readigrass, Excel Supa Forage though
please bear in mind that the alfalfas can be fairly rich and should be
considered as a treat to some extent and fed once a week), fresh clean water,
and the occasional
treat.
