Chinchillas for
I breed Standards, sapphires (and carriers), violets (and carriers) as well as ultraviolets, black velvets, brown velvets, hetero beige (sometimes I have homo beige available), pink white, Wilson white, and occasionally ebonies (both hetero and homo). Please contact me to check on availability.
At two months they are fully weaned and can be separated from their mother. I try to keep the babies together at first as this makes the split from their mother less stressful. Of course this is not an option in single kit litters, and will try to put two 'solos' together for company. This helps the babies adjust to the split. I now have the opportunity to make sure that they can look after themselves and are eating regularly. Under normal circumstances I will not part with a baby chinchilla before it is three months old, and as I've said before, I reserve the right to refuse a sale.
Shipping/delivery : I do not ship my chinchillas due to the difficulties finding a suitable courier, and also because of the new regulations controlling animal couriers. Where possible (depending on distance) I will deliver in person.
Pictures available on request. Pedigrees will not be provided unless requested in advance due to the large number of fake pedigrees currently circulating.
