Dino Plasmati Open Quartet
http:www.eastmanguitars.com/portfiolio/dino-plasmati/
Jazz is peculiar and constant dialogue between musicians and their audience. The public is not simply listening to the music, but they are actually feeling it, connecting with it activating all the senses.
Therefore jazz needs to wander, needs to reach always-new people to get new inspiration and vital force. The DINO PLASMATI OPEN QUARTET embodies all these features. It is a jazz group with a broad musical horizon, which do not hesitate in meeting interesting musical influences. It originates from a desire of the guitarist of the group Dino Plasmati.
The DINO PLASMATI OPEN QUARTET can offer a true example of jazz quality music as well as an intense and unique musical experience.
As another special treat for Pontypool jazz we are joined by this touring group from Italy. Led by phenomenal guitarist Dino Plasmati, featuring fellow Italians, saxophonist Carlo Fraccalvieri and drummer Marcello Nisi and jioned by local double bassist Steve Tanner. With a diverse range of influences too long to list, Dino’s writing has a very unique styling that helps him stand out from his peers.
Along his career, Dino played and collaborated with numerous Italian and Foreign musicians.
