The venue showcases the rising and established stars of the South Wales jazz scene and sometimes beyond. The jazz is modern: bebop, cool, hard-bop, fusion, spontaneous and more. Music ranges from piano or guitar trio, saxophone or trumpet quartet, quartet with vocals to big band. Hear jazz standards made famous by the likes of Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Herbie Hancock, Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, as well as original tunes.

We’re putting gigs on Wednesdays as well Tuesdays in 2009. We’ve had so much interest from players that one night a week isn’t enough.
Start times are usually 2100 and performances last a couple of hours.
Admission is usually £5 (£4 concessions), but may vary for special events.
