Q1.     Windows Media Player Opens but it says connecting for ages

A1.     Yes it does. The compression it uses requires the full movie to be downloaded before you can play it. So it will say "Connecting" until its done downloading. Get a program like DUmeter to monitor your internet traffic to see what you are downloading . Alternativly, you could right click the link and click "Save Target As"

Q2.     I have fully downloaded the movie, but I only get SOUND! 

A2.     Simple. You havn't got the CODEC required to view this type of compressed movie.  DivX , in this case:
