Bolton Ramblers Saturday Coach Rambles

The Saturday coach rambles is normally on the first Saturday of the month. (This would only change if it coincided with a public holiday eg New Year's Day)

The coach picks up at Chequerbent roundabout on the A6 at 7.45am, on Wigan Road and Deane Road on the way into Bolton Town Centre. The main pick up point is on Spa Road at the bus stop at 8am. Any other pick ups are dependent on the route to the walk starting point.

The walks are usually part of a long distance footpath or could be walks with a particular theme.

The walk length will depend on the availabilty of coach parking points for dropoff and pick up. The walk leader will try to arrange a toilet stop before starting walking and to finish where there are cafes and/or pubs for refreshments before driving home.

Please take a change of footwear and remove muddy boots before getting on the coach.
