My Model Jet Aircraft - Past and Present!
				Model 'planes - particularly jets - have been a huge part of my life since I was 9 years old. Each of these radio controlled models has a high performance 2 stroke engine inside it that turns a small diameter fan at speeds of up to 23,000 rpm which sucks in air through the air intakes at the front and blows it out the back. My favourite model, shown far right is capable of 175mph!
