All the photographs displayed on this site, were taken on my Sony MVC - FD73 Digital Mavica Camera. For those not familiar with this type of camera; which is ideally suited to PC/Web Page use, the camera uses normal 3.5" floppy disks as the storage media, which can then be simply removed, and placed in your PC for instant use, avoiding all the hassle of data transference via cable and dedicated software, necessary with all other types of digital cameras, capable of transferring picture image data to a PC; or having to scan in images, from those that aren't. I don't pretend to be a photographer, more a point and shoot, holiday snap taker, usually failing to get round to taking the film back for processing. (Another good reason for the Mavica) my interest is in the subject matter, rather than the photography, and it is a good excuse for another Web Site, which I love doing - See the 'Banners & Links' link below, to my Family Site, our garden re-design site, and the Web Sites I have built for my sister and our Grand-children. |
