About Me

Rachael Ann Childs is 30, she married the love of her life just 2 years ago and gave birth to her first Son Harry on the 17th August 07. She lives in Portsmouth, Hampshire where she was brought up. Her maiden name was Rachael Ann Hunt, for which you may of bought some of her previous artwork.

After several years of working after leaving school, Rachael decided to pursue her creative talents and enrolled on a university course in Fashion & Textiles. She successfully graduated in 2002. Rachael began to indulge her artistic passions further upon leaving university, creating textiles onto canvasses. Due to popular demand she gradually turned this into the business it is today, examples of which can be seen in the gallery.

“The unique thing about my art is that a piece can be tailored to the individual, be it a particular colour, space or design they like. I always like to talk to each customer about what they want to ensure the finished product is a true reflection of them and their home. Contrary to a lot of work on the market today, all my pieces are hand painted, none involve screen printing. This means you can be sure that your art is a true one-off and at a very affordable price!”
