Notice:   Car Rental:  2004 saw the introduction of an additional charge ($3 - $4 per day) only IF the collection is from an airport based rental station. This has to be paid on the day you collect. The policy was in operation at Las Vegas other airports may also operate this surcharge so check with your rental company. The charges vary and are on a daily basis...the longer your vacation the more cost to you. Rental companies stress that the charges are imposed by the airports to reflect the increased costs of security. It is often possible to collect your car at stations outside the airports. How long the surcharges will continue is not known for sure.
