PICTURE THIS is the worlds longest running Blondie fanzine. The first issue was created in 1994 (then re-launched in June 1995). Early issues were A4 sized and of photocopy quality but then changed in September 1997 to the now standard A5 size and of higher quality printed format. All back issues (1-8) were revamped to the A5 format. PICTURE THIS was created by Francois Wintein mainly because of the lack of information and absence of any fan club information at that time. Although we are not official we are recognized by Blondie band members who often receive PT issues and have in the past contributed to our efforts. |
The aim of PICTURE THIS is a simple one. To provide info (the best we can as we have no official help), to create a history in cuttings (including the negative or unflattering ones for history's sake! And afterall we are intelligent and understand the nature of the press!!). And most importantly, to let you the fans have your say -- this a fanzine written by Blondie fans for Blondie fans. We would like to thank everyone who has made PICTURE THIS become the success it is today. Below are some of the outstanding contributors who have written or donated some great material over the last ten years. |

Copyright on photos submitted to PT remain their owner’s. PT is written entirely by Blondie / D.H. fans for Blondie / D.H. fans and sold at a non profit making price. Anybody wishing to contribute to future editions can do whatever they want. Send in your reviews, photos, stories, cuttings, cartoons, puzzles, letters etc. Please mark each individual item with your name (otherwise I can’t return it or credit you for your contribution). Please also state if you need anything returning. You will receive a £40 voucher for any contribution used which can be used against any PT products. All cuttings printed are to be used as an aid in tracking down original copies. Wherever possible the source, date and publication are stated. Only original cuttings or 300dpi scans can be used in PT (photocopies will not reproduce to a high enough standard). All video stills & scanned images are printed as a promotional aid to the original distributers & film companies and have copyright. If you use a computer the following files formats are preferred: .TXT for text & .JPG for images (all images must be scanned at 300DPI). If you can’t provide a disk then submit a printout but please don’t use any fancy fonts because I’ll be unable to use my OCR software. |
