Links

Here you'll find some of the things I think are worth, at the very least, a look at. I've split the page into a few diffrent sections and in no particular order either. I'll try and give a review on its own page when I can but for now I'll just add the links with a quick note. Check them out, I'm sure you'll find some intresting ones. top

Software

HydraIRC : An extremely cool IRC program. While it is still new and doesn't support a scripting language that the more popular mIRC, it is free and it is opensourced. Not only that but the program is very upto date with more features then you can shake a VERY large stick at.

Mozilla Firebird : I've been using this since it was first publicly released and I've not turned back since. Its very fast at rendering webpages and the load time is almost as fast as Internet Explorer. Its opensourced and supports a lot of nice features such as built in popup blocking and tabs. Easy to install, just extract the zip. Easy to uninstall, just delete the folder. Its only a 6mb download so give it ago, use it for a day and I'm sure you'll be using it forever more.

ConquerCam : This is the software I use to run my webcam page. Its very powerful so I'll be writing a small tutorial for this bit of software.

Star Downloader : Simple but easy to use download manager. Forget Getright or download accelerator plus. This does the same job and is free.

Games

Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory : Many people think you need RTCW game to play this game, but that is not true. This is a standalone game, a free full game. I think its a real shame because it can be a fun game. It uses the same game engine as RTCW so its quite a big download. Coming in at around 258MB broadband users should have no problem downloading it. You can download the latest version from the Blueyonder site.

America's Army: Operations : Don't be put off by the name of the game, its an excellent game that is hard to master, but once you do you'll be hooked. Its a cross between Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon and Counter Strike. What puts most people off is the ablity of them not been able to read the website. You have to complete the basic training in the game before you can play online. And then you have to compleate the missions online be allowed access to other missions online. Not as hard as it sounds, but the it can seem rather hard for the new players as I first found out. The game engine is based on Unreal II and its sole sponcer is the US army. The download is rather big though, at a massive 605 MB you'll defiantly want to use a broadband connection to download this game. Well worth it though. You can download the latest version from the Blueyonder site.

Websites

The Little Ninjai : This site is a flash animation dedicated to a little ninjai. You follow his adventure in a series of flash animations that are released every so oftern. Very good animations. Well worth adding to your bookmark collection.

headshaver : Shave your head completely bald! If you've ever wanted to try it (its ok, it'll grow back) but were unsure about how to or the best way to shave etc. Have a read of this site, have reviews of shaving equitment and if you just want a laff at silly bald men (..and women) check this site out. I shave my head and in my opinon, this site has all the information you need about going bald. Its just a pitty I have to shave my head as I remember one site says God made a few perfect heads...on the others he put hair and even though I'm not at all religious, that quote kinda stuck in my head.
