I'm off work now until the 29th! I've been waiting for this small holiday from work for a while now. I've uploaded a small program I made to help me with my job working in Royal Mail's MDECs. Check it out if you want to have a small insight in to my job.
topI hadn't got a recent back up that week so I'd lost a weeks worth of tutorials that I was going to use. See my last log below. I don't know if anyone got to see them or not. Anyway, they're gone so I've made new ones. Updated a bit more of the site and my webcam should be back online in the next few weeks. ntl and the police know I'm not going to hang myself so my site shouldn't get deleted again.
Good news though, I've got a better webcam.. actually its a cheap digital camera but works well as a webcam. Maybe I'll put dual Webcams up one day.The tutorials have been added, two of them infact, the first is called Assign DNS Servers and the second is the one I should have uploaded at the start of the year, Explorer FTP. If you're reading this, it means I've uploaded the start of the news site. I hope you like it. Although it is bare, I hope to keep the layout simple and easy enough for me to maintain with minimal effort. However, it doesn't mean there aren't any pictures for you to look at; dig deep and you'll find them (well, at least when I've uploaded them). The links page should be working so why not have a look at some of the goodies there.
I'll probably use this 'news' section as a blog page as well. I guess I'd better start that now and bring things up to date.
At the moment I'm on holiday from work as I took 3 weeks off at the start of the month. So now I'm on my last week and I've become very idle. I've updated two of my other websites and now I'm working on this one. I've learnt how to create maps for Quake III Arena, thanks to 3Dbuzz's VTMs.
I've got my first digital camera, its neat and don't worry; I'll be posting some pictures soon. Its not the best, but at £50 I think its quite good for the price.
I had to go to the computer market the other week, got some stuff (more ram, another DVD drive etc). I also had to get some extra network cable, as it seems my farther has become addicted to Internet chat rooms. Not IRC, but the web based ones with pictures. You can check it out here. His computer used to be in my parents bedroom, its now been moved downstairs into the back room so my mother can get some sleep at night. Apparently, he giggles all night at the computer and stops her from sleeping… anyhow, that's all cabled up and he stays up to God knows what hours in the morning now.
