Gig news

Yes - we are going to do it all over again. Details yet to be confirmed, but we are playing at The Grapes on 20 October 2007 to mark the 20th anniversary of the gig we did with the FCS at Take 2, Darnall in 1987.

The Nihilistics 19th anniversary reunion gig took place on 13 September 2006.

Support: Dog Canute

So it happened. We were delighted with the turn-out. Great to see so many people having a good time, even dancing - to the Nihilistics - which never happened 19 years ago.

Thanks to Dog Canute for a great set, really fitted in with the night. Shame the tapes of 80s bands didn't work out too well - the CD player was jumping on some tracks so we had to take it off.

The Nihilistics have left the building.

Sex Vicar - AKA "Techno Ken" Frost,
Nile Manilow - AKA Paul of SLBC,
Pete Fuck ex-Fuck City Shitters and 35 other bands,
Mr Pharmacist - AKA Matty K - who once had an audition with the Long Pigs, and
Phillis Stein-Geldof - the completely talentless one with the eyebrows and pointy ears of a pixie.

We didn't play any "new" songs.
