5. Art Gallery ... Page 1

I have chosen a few of my drawings and paintings to display in this and the following two pages. Primarily I enjoy working in pen and ink. More recently I have tried various watercolour techniques, but my preference is to work with pen and ink with some water colouring applied - sometimes before, sometimes after the ink.

The 10 pencil sketches on this page were all done in the late 1950s - after a trip to Florence,Rome & Assisi - hence the emphasis on the Italian Renaissance period.
