Here are a few more of my favourite photographs. The first 7 were taken during the last 18 months with my digital camera. The last 5 photographs were earlier snaps, taken with a Ricoh camera, and later scanned into the computer.

A scene from the Nymphs Fountain In the Thames-side grounds of York House, Twickenham. An earlier owner was the Indian magnate, Sir Ratan Tata, who installed these extraordinary statues. Only two of the seven life-size and cheerful-looking nymphs in the water feature are pictured here.

A still-life study in the grounds of Castle Howard, North Yorkshire. The discarded headstone is obviously for a family pet, Rusty, but it now accurately describes the state of its surroundings

The Ettrick Bay Stone Circle, near Kildavanan, on the Isle of Bute, Scotland. The standing stones have a map reference of: NS044668
