Still Water rules
All events are run in a 50m pool. Standard swimming rules apply. Distances in brackets are for female competitors if different from male.

100m Manikin carry with fins |
50m swim to manikin on the bottom against the wall. Return with manikin to finish. |
Must surface with manikin within 10m of the turning wall. Manikin at depth of 1.8 – 3m. Need not touch far end of pool. |

50m Manikin carry |
25m swim to manikin on the bottom in centre of pool. Continue to other end of pool with manikin. |
Must surface before diving for manikin. Must surface with manikin within 5m of the manikin’s position. Manikin at depth of 1.8 – 3m. |

100m Manikin tow with fins |
50m swim with tube to manikin placed upright facing far end of pool. Rescuer retrieves manikin and attaches tube. Return with manikin tube line fully extended. |
Must touch far end first. Must get manikin into the tube with 5m. |

200m Super lifesaver |
75m swim to manikin, 25m tow, 50m with fins and tube, 50m tow. |
5m rule applies. Other rules as in previous event. |

100m Rescue Medley |
50m swim, 20m(15m) under water to manikin, tow manikin to finish |
5m rule applies. Cannot take a breath between feet leaving far end of pool and surfacing with manikin. |
