Beach training for Nippers is Thursday evenings 6pm until 7:30pm (7:30 from June)

Winter Pool training for Nippers is at Twynham School on Monday evenings 6pm until 7pm (Only during school term time)

The Nipper section is for 7 to 12 year olds.

During the summer we train on the beach every Thursday between 6:00pm and 7:30pm.

In winter months we train at Twynham School Pool

We learn how to have fun on the beach safely as well as a few basic lifesaving skills.

As we are trendy and up-to-date, here are some FAQs!

Q - Who can join?

A - Anyone can join with their parents or guardians permission (subject to safety limits).

Q - How good a swimmer do I need to be?

A - You don't need to be a swimmer at all. If you want to learn, we will teach you but there are plenty of beach activities for non-swimmers.

Q - How safe is it?

A - The first thing you'll learn is that the sea is NEVER safe, we just strive to make it as safe as possible.

Q - Can my parents get involved?

A - Yes please!!! For safety reasons we have a limited number of places as we have to keep a low Nipper/Adult ratio. The more adults get involved the more Nippers can take part.

Q - Are all adults check for criminal records?

A - As of 2003, all adults in the club must agree to have a criminal record check even if they aren't directly involved with the Nippers.
