bulletAll Examiners must be current Instructors in the award group they wish to examine.
bulletAs with the Instructor award the Examiner award is generic. This means that once you have become an Examiner in one award group you will automatically become and Examiner in all award groups you are qualified to Instruct.
bulletTo become an Examiner you must first act as a probationary examiner for 4 exams.
bulletAt least 2 of the exams (including the final exam) must be of the highest award within the award group.
bulletFor your first exam you will usually follow one of the other examiners. Although you can be included in the Examiner/Candidate ratio you usually won't be.
bulletFor the second and third exams you will act as a regular examiner.
bulletFor your 'final' exam you will act as 'Examiner in Charge'. This will mean that you will have to make sure the exam runs smoothly and that all the paperwork is completed.
