Can anyone living on the island assist me with
this:
I am trying to find information about 2 children. If anyone ever
visits the cemetery I would appreciate knowing what is on their
gravestones. It will help me to confirm them as family.
The Braddan Cemetery burial records:
Plot 3900
George Stevenson Quine buried 3 December 1884 age 17 months
Daisy Maggie Quine, of Strang, age 1 year, buried 10 May 1897
I think they are children of
Plot 278
Jonathan QUINE, of The Strang, age 78, buried 13 Sep 1922
I am fairly confident that George Stevenson is a child of Jonathan,
as I found someone of this name born Toxteth Park Liverpool in
quarter Sept 1883. This is the same location the other children were
born and around the same time period, his birth certificate states
parents as Jonathan Quine and Margaret Roberts.
In 1891 there is a census record of the family living at number 2
Cottage, Village of Strang, Braddan.
I have no information at all about Daisy Maggie.
Any help on this would be appreciated
