Sunday 1st June 2003.
I get to view a 1964 Series 3 150 Lambretta for sale. It's in a sad state, but my mind was made up, I'm buying it. A handshake seals the deal and the chap kindly offers to deliver the scooter to my house.

Not much done today except deciding on seating and trying to decide on a colour scheme. I've decided to use the two seats that came with the scooter. They need new springs, shot blasting and covers.

to strip the frame. Everything's done except for the toolbox lid and rear
brake pedal.

10th June 2003 Finally got the frame stripped. Gave it a wee wash...that didn't help much, but the milk crates look far better. |

Waiting to get the frame back from the shotblaster. Stripped the forks today. They and a couple of other parts need shotblasting. Good planning there...not.

Picked up the scooter today. It's been shotblasted & primed. All the parts will need prepared for painting.

Still ongoing with the restoration, As I don't have the money to get everything done at once. It's just going to take time. I've been picking up a few pieces. I've got to get rear runner boards and a few bits shotblasted before I get the spray job done.Thursday 25th September 2003

Finally, a year and a half later and after some delays, the LI 150 is all but finished.
The Scooter needs an MOT (booked for Monday) & registering.
There's plenty of things that aren't right and some things will be corrected, but that's for another time. I'm just glad it's done.
