Nuneaton Model Helicopter Club was created to bring together people who enjoy flying radio controlled helicopters. Being part of a club helps us spread the knowledge and techniques learnt by us as individuals and share them as a group, therefor limiting mistakes and this in turn helps keep the cost of flying down. Another factor to think about is the safety aspect . Our club and many other clubs provides safety guidance, this guidance rules out those accidents that are just waiting to happen. When I think about it I could probably write a book on the mistakes that I made in the early stages of learning that were quite expensive mistakes. This was because I did not have anyone to fall back on when anything went wrong , I had to learn from my own mistakes which in turn made learning very slow.Joining a club is a must if you want to progress safely and quickly. Our club provides its own helicopter set up for training and buddy boxed transmitters so that we have full control over you why you are learning to fly. Our club Membership Fees are Adult  £40  Junior £15 a year  plus BMFA Insurance which is Adult £28 Junior £15 a year.
