Jesus Head - People Like You
File size: 8.8 MB

Unheard by anyone until now... this jam session with Gordon was discovered sorting through some of the cassettes in the Archive, and represents Jesus Head's "Improvisational" period.

The Aborted - Something Stupid

File size: 2.0 MB

A brand new piece of pure parody, sort of an antidote to the doom and gloom of some of my recent works.

For some bizarre reason, when I saw Robbie Williams and Nicole Kidman sing this song, I decided it should have been recorded as an electronic love song sung by a computer. Don't ask me why, only the brain knows, and it's not telling...

This was created as a collision between a karaoke midi file and an online voice generator... check out the voice generator here.

The Aborted - Cool World

File size: 5.8 MB

Unreleased track from the incomplete 5th cassette "Bracket Fungus", recently rediscovered in the archives and dusted down.

Gordon of Jesus Head had recorded the music from the film "Cool World" onto a cassette and was listening to it in the car. As it was taken straight from the film it still had sections of dialogue running through the music. This track was directly influenced by that tape and is my own accompanying music to one of the film's scenes... sort of an imaginary soundtrack to a real film, if that makes any sense.

The Aborted - Seven Spheres

File size: 0.8 MB

From the 1992 C90 cassette "Extra Tracks From The Ideal Copy", currently being remastered for CD release.

The Aborted's very first multimedia production... Seven Spheres was released as a song and a painting... okay okay I know that's not very exciting by today's standards, but this is a historical document so it's allowed to be dull.

The song tells the story of a man visited by strange spherical assassins sent by his wife...

404 - Demo Track 1
File size: 3.3MB

404 - Demo Track 2
File size: 2.3MB

This is the new band formed by Ant Mitch and Mike, with whom I played bass in Tetsubo. These are their first demos, recorded on Saturday 7th September 2002 at The Lamplighters, Leicester. And I got to press buttons on the Minidisc recorder.... woohoo! (sorry)
