AFTER SCHOOL SERVICE

This lively "hands-on" Service for children and parents
on their way home from school
takes place in the Lady Chapel
at 4.00 pm on Tuesday afternoons
during term-time, usually fortnightly.

Children, parents and helpers gather from 3.45pm

in the Lounge for squash, tea and biscuits.

We then go through to the Lady Chapel

where the service starts with the children lighting the candles

and using incense to remind us of God’s presence.

A talk then usually introduces the theme of the day,

and the learning continues through a craft based activity.

We finish with a final prayer and a song,

and are ready to leave by 4.40pm.

Primary school age children (and their parents)
are especially welcome.
