2nd NORTHWOOD (St. Edmund's) CUB SCOUTS

Meetings : Monday Evenings from 6.30-8pm at St. Edmund’s Scout Hut .
Open to boys and girls age from 8 to 10 years

The purpose of Cub Scouting is to help young people take a constructive place in society.

This is done through games and activities to aid their spiritual, moral and physical development.

We have a progressive training scheme with awards
and there are a number of activity badges Cubs can undertake.

During a typical year we will go on outings, attend and participate in church parades
go swimming, go camping, and take part in district activities arranged for young people.

We have visitors from local organisations e.g. the police, who come and talk to us.

Cubs undertake First Aid, knots, tracking, camping, cooking, leadership, and working together.

Craft work and fun games also play a part.

If you would like to join, or help as an adult please get in touch.
