Carol trained as a Primary School teacher, and taught
in Leeds for 2 years before leaving the profession in
order to gain a better work/life balance. After working
for a bank for 2 years, she had her first child in 2002,
and returned to work part time before having her second.
The family relocated to Croxley in 2004, and Carol left
work to look after her children full-time. The opportunity
to get involved in running the Toddler Group with Snibs
and Justine gave Carol the buzz she'd missed since leaving
teaching, and the inspiration for Doodletots. She is passionate
about facilitating children's learning through fun and
play, and hopes to do that for the very young through
the Doodletots sessions. She originally intended to return
to Leeds, but loves Croxley's community spirit so much,
that she's keen to stay, and make her own contribution

Justine
began her career in the Civil Service as a customer services
officer in the Department for Work and Pensions. In 2000,
she moved from her home in Chesterfield to be with her
now husband in London, and most recently worked for the
Office of the Prime Minister, helping those with strong
concerns raise them with the Prime Minister, before commencing
a career break in 2003 to have her daughter. After moving
to Croxley, Justine became involved in many local activities
such as the Toddler Group she became involved in running
with Carol & Snibs. Justine is practical, hard working
and dedicated to ensuring the survival of a thriving and
active community in Croxley that supports Mums, Dads and
all carers to provide our next generations with the best
start in life.

After working as PA
to the Vice Chancellor of De Montfort University, where
she honed her administrative and organisational skills,
Snibs moved to London from her home in Leicester to fulfil
her creative yearnings. She
worked as a prop and model maker in the film industry
before having her daughter in 2002 and son in 2004 (moving
to Croxley Green shortly before her daughter was born).
As well as running the Toddler Group, Snibs also devotes
time to fundraising for her daughters school and
acts as social secretary for her fellow mums in her capacity
as a Class Representative. She thoroughly enjoys everything
she does as it makes her feel that she is making a small
difference within the community to enhance the early
years experience for parents, carers and children alike.
Doodletots is the perfect natural extension of this and
Snibs is really looking forward to getting it up and running.
