In a large Sunday service it can be hard to make friends and feel part of things. If you have joined us from another church speak to Ben about joining one of the small groups that meet on a weekly basis. These groups provide opportunity for friendship, prayer, learning and involvement in mission.
Are you lonely, or would like to share problems, or even need help filling in forms etc. You may just wish to play board games, sew or read. If so, please come and join us and share lunch. We meet on Tuesdays, 1:00 - 4:00pm at the church building in Slipe Lane.
The men in the church meet on a regular basis for social activities such as a curry night or bowling. If you're a man you're welcome to join us!
Most terms we run a social event for the church as a whole. These have included Pete McCahon - TV magician and escapologist, barn dances and quiz nights.
Most school holidays we run activities for children ranging from craft days at the community centre to fully blown holiday clubs
A regular event over the last few years has been a family fun day where we take over the Community Centre and fill it with games, stalls, bouncy castles, face painting, competitions, and activities for all ages to enjoy.
Get involved in craft on Monday Evenings. Tuition, company, tea and ideas provided! Alternates between afternoons and evenings.
