arrive in Coggeshall
Tea/coffee break at the
Dutch Nursery
10.00am:
meet Curator Shirley Ratcliff at the Museum
Introductory talk on Coggeshall given by Shirley
Look round the Museum's displays
Guided walk through town centre
12.00pm:
arrive at Paycocke's House
Guided tour of house given by Shirley Ratcliff
1.00pm:
local pub lunch
2.00pm: -
if we are ahead on time, we will try to
include a visit to Grange Barn
2.30pm:
arrive at St. Nicholas' Chapel
Short history of Chapel given by Shirley Ratcliff
3.00pm:
arrive at Coggeshall Abbey Farm
Tea and cakes, with owner Roger Hadlee
Guided tour of abbey given by Roger
6.30-7.00pm: arrive at Waltham Abbey
