Britannia detailed build diary of the building of a Modelworks Britannia
The Model Zone - This is a forum for modelling discussions. If you go down to the newsgroups section it also links into Model Engineering topics.
Whiteice - one of our club members is building a modelworks pannier tank engine and gives an account of his experience on his website. Check Hobbies.
Discover Live Steam - An American based site rather like an online model railway mag but for the larger sizes, ie model engineering. Check the article about  building a Shay for news of an old club member.
Owen's site - Bright site from NLSME member which has on it, somewhere, pictures of William Thrale, our old club loco.
LGB - The Garden Gauge railways. A bit chunky but kid-proof
Andy's page - 16mm stuff including LegoLoco
Indespension -  trailer parts.
Meccano - meccanoscene.
Model Railways Trains online magazine
16mm links - lots of them.
Lathes details and pictures of loads of lathes and other tools, both current and used
Tractors antique tractors and parts - something different
Gardening - well every now and then you have to do a bit of this. With lots of big plants you could have a bigger shed and hide it
Utilities this is a huge collection of engineering related small programs. Also somewhere in it is a list of every screw thread from half a mm to one inch diameter.
RL Supplies is a supplier of computer parts but note that for some things you have to know all about computers.
Watford Electronics is a computer supplier who has been around rather longer than most - like in the 70's when we built them using TTL
Maplin have taken over from Watford Electronics for components like resistors and TTL, but also computer bits.
M.E.Clubs this site lists hundreds of model engineering clubs. It must be the number one link site for clubs.
