Another good exhibition at the Arena in which as well as our main stand we had the display of air operated steam engines and Steam operated workshop display in the stairwell. On Sunday Les had to dash home and get some of his tinplate Hornby trains to make an emergency display where someone had dropped out. The resulting loop with an engine and a few carriages caused a lot of interest  for the small children and the over 50's who had had a clockwork train. The CMRA website will have some pictures shortly.

The St Albans & District Model Engineering Society is a contact point for people interested in model engineering, model locomotives, trains, traction engines, stationary engines, model boats, yachts, barges, or just general engineering and technical subjects.
The Society activities are focused around our evening meetings in St Albans, England, every month. There are also gatherings at a lakeside and at our track site in the summer, and we hold our own
exhibition every year in the early autumn.
