POWER CHORD PRODUCTIONS :

Strangers WEB Bits
(And you thought Strangers electronic bits were cool {WEB Ed}) January 2001

What the F**K was that !

Greetings, Hello and Welcome to the Show. Part 1 of the 2001 Strangers season is upon us once again and the band is ready to go - in fact the band has already gone so to speak. If you missed the gig at the Vic in Coalville then you missed out ! Don't say we didn't warn you.

COOL Photos

Hey, dig the cool photos man. Most of these were taken by the Drewbro.

(Above)
Happy Days - Scully smiles and Rachel licks her microphone whilst Stuart squeezes out a particularly tough fart.

The Druids Icy Ale Rally - WILD !

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHAAAAAAAAAAAA . . . . . .
Many thanks to the Druids - it was great. We have kept the diary free for the same weekend next year - just in case ! The Big End Rally Having missed playing the "Big End" this year due to holidays, we have been invited to play it next August. Now, as Uncle Nigel is a little shy and retiring about this most splendid occasion, we would like to invite you all along. Please ask or e-mail (from home page) for booking info. SEXY LIGHTS Look, Look . . . . sexy, sexy, sexy lights ! (They don't give me a stiffy - Ed) (How would we know if it did {WEB Ed}) Who nicked the Venues ! Following our appeal for venues last edition, we now have work coming in thick and fast including new offers from Coventry and Coalville. Keep 'em coming (fnar fnar - Ed) and we'll keep playing 'em.
The BIG NEWS - SPROG 2

For those that haven't noticed, Strangers are taking a 3 month break in the summer. This is because Rachel's pregnant (again).Maybe we'll retain the Bass player and drummer this time!
So, we are now the first gig guide to publish pictures of an unborn child (Unless of course you know different {WEB Ed}). It's a bit difficult to spot but have a go !

(Isn't that what she said? - Fnar Fnar {WEB Ed})

We are also the first gig guide to publish the pictures of a conception. Due to the large amount of pictures and the size of the mpg file, use the following link....

(No Disrespect - {WEB Ed})
"Sprog 2" is due on the 1st July 2001

The Midlands Gig Guide

Having got 200 hits in November and being dead chuffed about it we
are a might pissed off to tell you that it appears that our good
'ole matey Darren Pugh isn't sure he wants to continue to run the
Midlands Gig Guide site now that he isn't playing (he was the
guitarist for Silent Bob - Ed).

Now we want him to continue doing it because Midlands Gig Guide was
good - it's just that the bands didn't promote and support it very
well. If you would like to encourage Darren to continue running
Midlands Gig Guide please e mail him At:

Mail Darren
and tell him Strangers sent you. Ta

The WOZ WOLF 2001 is on.

We have been invited back to the Woz on August Bank Holiday. This is a GREAT rally with about 800 people and Strangers through some ridiculously big rig on Newark county show ground, A N Other band on the night and a great atmosphere. Further details as we get them.

Paranoid Rock Circus
As we understand it this is a sort of showcase affair for Biker types. All we know so far is that it's held on a caravan site somewhere near Lincoln and that it's supposed to be a shit hotnight. If your interested in coming then we suggest you keep inclose contact so we can let you know more info as we get it. Ta

toilets there ! - Ed).

This is set to be excellent so please lend us your support. Ta.
