Hazel Grove United Under 8's
Update - January 2004

Since the last update the under 8's have played in a further 4 matches in the local mini league.

We play 2 teams of mixed ability and experience and have had continued success with all players showing great strides in ability and confidence, with the general team play developing well.

This leaves the team in 2nd place in league 1 with a game in hand and in 5th place in league 2 also with a game in hand.

Feb 8th sees the second part of our mini league kicking off with a home tie vs Rose Hill.

The team enjoyed a Christmas party at the local bowling alley with 16 players involved. A well done goes to Luke who after 2 competive games was the overall winner. PHOTO TO FOLLOW

We now have 19 regular players signed on and Feb 1st sees our BRING A FRIEND TO FOOTY DAY. Where th players have been challenged to bring at least 1 friend to Sunday morning training, hopefully further boosting our numbers.
