Hazel Grove United Under 8's
New Sponsorship Deal

As I promised I have had some great news from my company, Wyeth Consumer Healthcare, who have agreed to sponsor the under 8’s team throughout 2004 and into 2005.

Wyeth Consumer Healthcare manufacture and market, leading healthcare brands, such as Anadin analgesics, Centrum multivitamins and minerals, Robitussin cough liquids and Chapstick lip balms, and are one of the world’s premier consumer healthcare companies.

The specific name that they have agreed to sponsor Hazel Grove under 8’s with is Centrum Kidz from their Vitamin range.

Unlike many other vitamin tablets for children, Centrum Kidz is tailored to the daily requirements of children aged 4 to 10 years.

Each tablet is packed with a balance of nutrients, including iron, antioxidant vitamins, vitamin C and every one of the B-vitamins. Centrum Kidz also contains xylitol, an alternative to sugar that has been shown to actually reduce both dental plaque and the levels of bacteria known to cause tooth decay.

Centrum Kidz is now available as a new, great tasting fruity chewable tablet. Over 60% of children who have tried Centrum Kidz said they would like to carry on taking it and would ask their parents to buy it for them.

The sponsorship will initially allow us to fully pay off all the equipment – goals / bibs / balls etc. My personal thanks go to Peter and Jackie Crosby for all of the help and patience with this.

This now sets us up as a fully “financially solvent” team and will allow us to finish this season and more importantly, to enter the 2004/5 season with additional quality equipment and A NEW sponsored kit, in line with the overall Hazel Grove Club aspirations.
