Not a classic by any means but at the end of the day the result here was all that mattered. From an early season encounter Reddish proved to be dangerous opponents, but the potential threat in this game never came. The cold and gusty conditions didn't help but Grove dug in deep and battled well throughout. The winning goal came near the end of the match and was reward enough following a number of good chances missed during the first half. Tom White provided a nice finish to some good work from Luke down the left hand side. In fact the feat was nearly repeated some moments later but Nick Madden was given offside-unfairly I thought.

Pleased with the midfield this weekend and their willingness to get stuck in. Sam Marshall played his part and deservedly won the man-of-the-match award.
