What do you get?
You get to broadcast your music through our advert free radio station
free of charge. You get a flashy dedicated page in our A-Z artists list
with your own intro and about section with 2 jpeg images and mp3 up to 1
minute voice message to your potential fans. Hyperlinks to your website
and networking site (myspace, bebo). Finally all this leads to a bigger
number of fans, especially if you are currently unheard of and starting
out.
What Style of Music is Jarvis-RADIO looking for? Our radio station is revolutionary,
we take anything and everything. Goth, Rock, Metal, POP, indie,
Classical, Rap, Country ANYTHING!!!! with exception of course. We will
not take tracks with racist or hate lyrics. Explicit words are allowed,
but you must state this when submitting your track
What can I submit? You can submit as many tracks as you
like as long as they do not exceed 5MB each and must have a bit rate of
128Kbps. We re-encode the tracks live for streaming at a bit rate of
64Kbps therefore a high bit rate of the original track is needed to
avoid the drainpipe effect.
You can submit 2 jpeg images of band members
or anything related, don't worry about size as for these will be
re-rendered to fit our site.
You can submit a mp3 voice message of a
maximum up to 1 minute, again don't worry about size as for it will be
re-encoded.
You can submit up to 5 hyperlinks to your
websites and networking sites. You may link to a personal site also.
Legal and Copyright Firstly regarding the content you
submit to us. The copyright of the tracks and images must be that of
yourself or the band and must be free of legal ties like contracts with
record labels etc... Please make sure you have full rights to submit
content to us.
Contract. Yes you'll have to sign a
contract. This is for us to agree we will not sell your music or make
direct profit from it like for example a pay downloads site or in a non
radio production. It will also allow a cut off time for how long we can
broadcast. (minimum of 1 year or 1-5 years or unlimited)
How will content be submitted?
Well there's two ways, you can post us a CD or DVD or it can all be done
via email including the contract.
