Motor racing can be dangerous,
these rules are for your own safety, please abide by them and enjoy your day
here.
As a result of changes within the Child
Protection Act, the Coastal Model Car Racing Club must ask the parents or
guardians of junior entrants (under 16 years old), that they accept that
Model Car Racing can be hazardous, especially whilst marshalling.
If any parent or guardian is unable to accept
this disclaimer, they must find a substitute marshal for the entrant, and
inform the Race Director immediately. This marshal must be over 16 years old
and hold a current BRCA Licence. If this cannot be arranged, the entrant
will not be allowed to compete.
The only persons allowed onto the track are
registered and current BRCA cardholders or temporary registered club
members. Pit crew/assistants must be current BRCA cardholders and must be
behind the perimeter fencing/barriers whilst racing is in progress.
The only persons allowed onto the track
whilst racing is in progress are the marshals or club officials. Drivers
must remain on the rostrum until the race is declared finished by the Race
Director.
All spectators must remain behind the safety fencing at all
times. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times. Dogs must be
kept on leads.
The Coastal Model Car Club has taken all reasonable
precautions to make your visit a safe one. However the Club will not be held
responsible for any injuries or loss however caused by persons entering the
circuit and you are here at you own risk .
Any liability claim MUST be made directly to the BRCA. |
