2005

2005 was continuing the familiar pattern ...

• A lot of gardening to make it neat for a summer party,
• included starting a veg plot for the first time in 10 years. Beetroot and Runner Beans a great success. lambs lettuce ok, rocket and fennel bolted. Some fantastic tomatoes.
• JGA Executive Challenge - pre-election to reduce the unemployment statistics
• sorting all kinds of PC problems for friends and relatives,
• still playing Bridge - down to only 2 or 3 sessions, but lots online on BBO
• proof reading the British Go Journal,
• volunteer at Reading Beer Fest
• Dog Minding - Raffles and Charlie (August and October)
• mini-breaks in Lincoln, and Westerham, Kent
