Bogdan Bogdanovich, the beast of the Balkans, is a name used by mothers to scare their children across South East Europe. Named after an obscure Romanian goalkeeper, Bogdan has the worst temper in sport. A seemingly nice guy off the pitch, the beast of the Balkans erupts as soon as he feels the astroturf beneath his cloven hooves. Whether it is through the use of his now legendary "Elbow of Justice" or his point blank refusal to accept his team are losing based purely on the fact that they have scored less than the opposition, every opponent knows that to face Bogdan is to face the Devil himself on the field of play.

At one time Stephen had a reputation as something of a goalkeeper on the basis he had a pair of goalkeeper gloves. This reputation evaporated faster than Metholated Spirits at a tramp convention as soon as anyone saw him play. Stephen's true position seemed to be outfield where he had the opportunity to hurt the opposition and shoot wildly at goal. He is never happier than when kicking others, blasting the ball out of the park and claiming his team lead the game by 364,548 goals. Or was it 364,549? It doesn't really matter as Stephen's teams are never losing due to his unique numerical system of refusing to acknowledge goals scored by the opposition. Even when his team is being beaten like a ginger step-child Stephen will insist that the teams are "level".

On the odd occasion he can tame his inner demons Stephen can turn in a good performance. Sightings of Stephen in full flight, or Bogdan's showboat as the technique is called, are few and far between and only a handful of souls have survived to tell the tale.
