These are new pages to catalogue Nigel's "Updates" on life in Trindad - much appreciated by those of us far from home... They are a wonderful mixture of reportage and personal observation and I am really sorry I lost so many of them in a stupid software glitch last year!

I had saved the whole lot, right from the beginning of the Pointe-a-Pierre web site, so if anyone has any of those old ones and would like to email them to me, I'd be really happy! The ones below begin in 2001.

Maaaan! I don't know where to start....Crosswinds crashed the site again and even though I paid them for premium status which should give me back-up the whole PaP Crosswinds site is gone again.

The people who hosted the Crosswinds site guestbook have gone out of business and taken with them 470 valuable entries.....gulp!!

The Geocities site is still up and running OK......when I signed on to their guestbook they never mentioned a limit on the number of entries..... guess what....they have closed off the guestbook since it is "full".

So I have three things to do

1. Reload the Crosswinds site.

2. Get a new guestbook installed on the Crosswinds site.

3. Improve the Crosswinds site.
