What is Communion ?

On the night before Jesus died he called his disciples together to celebrate the Jewish passover . While he was there he took bread and wine , blessed them and passed them around his friends. While they were taking these he said about the bread “ This is my body given for you ; do this in remembrance of me”
And about the wine said
“This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you”
And so as the Lord instructed us we meet each Sunday take bread and wine and remember what the Lord has done for us.
