Notice the gaslight and cobbles on Paxton Street

In the picture above you can see the original woodwork ,with detailed carving along the raised platform ,in front of which is the choir box , being used in this picture for a lunch of the Deacons and their wives.

The original layout of the church had two aisles which ran the length of the sanctuary. You can see the wooden pews with brass hinged brackets to hold umbrellas.
The text at the front:
