| CAMBRIDGE BRANCH |
The NHS Retirement Fellowship was created in 1978 for the enjoyment and benefit of all past employees of NHS Trusts, Authorities and the NHS Executive, over the age of 50 together with their partners. Throughout the network of branches across the UK, healthcare staff are given encouragement and support to enjoy a wide variety of activities.
The Cambridge Branch, which has over 300 members, meets at Addenbrooke's usually on the last Wednesday in the month. This is an excellent oportunity to meet friends as well as to enjoy the guest speaker of the day. Outings, holidays, concerts, theatre trips, quizzes, lunches, etc which have all been arranged for members can be booked.(see other pages for current details.)The Annual Membership fees (2008/09) are as follows:- For a single person £8.00, for a couple £15.00.
The Membership Year goes from 1st April to 31st March. Intending members are invited to join at any time during the year and subsequent renewals of subscriptions are payable at any convenient time within the period from January to March.
