Removing Vonage from the VTA-UV
The D-Link VTA-UV is a VoIP adapter that
is capable of two VoIP lines
so can have two handsets plugged into it.
The benefits of VoIP are
mainly the very cheap calls, or even free VoIP
to VoIP calls!
The D-Link VTA-UV is great, except it
comes locked to Vonage who
charge £7.99 per month for using their VoIP
service. Sipgate
however charge NOTHING! Hence this page dedicated to
unlocking the adapter to use with other providers!
 Here's
the box in all its glory!
The first thing everyone should know is
that the sticker on top that says
Vonage on it peels off very easily, rub
the glue off with your thumb!

This is used to unlock the boxes and
