| THE BAND
Well at last I'm able to start up the Brian Jeffels Band. Much more traditional in its music than The Creosote Brothers but all my own material. The line up at present is myself (string instruments/accordion and vocals), Lin Griffin (accordion/guitar/thumb piano and vocals) and Maggie Lonergan (fiddle/vocals). Rehearsals are in progress for what could be a really interesting gig (more info when confirmed) and of course the forthcoming album, For whom the willow weeps, which I can now announce is released on June 1st 2009

| FORTHCOMING DATES - MARCH
March 17th (St. Patrick's day) St. Neots Folk Club - this will be a solo performance as both Lin and Maggie are out Irishing that night so I'll be doing the songs as they were first written. I'm looking forward to this one- never been to the club before even though it's probably one of my most local venues. Since writing this I've played here and it's a really nice club with lots of "singalong" people. Met loads of people I knew playing as well so I'm looking forward to going returning..

| CLARKE,GITTINS
AND BLUNDELL
The new album is well underway, I've finished my tracks and the final vocals are being recorded now so the release date should not be far off. Some of the tracks are much fuller in sound than the last album and there are some interesting new instruments to be heard. A good listen - very traditional with some really nice songs and tunes sought out by the boys.
